Order Modifications & Cancellations: Orders with standard items may be modified or cancelled at any time prior to shipment with no restocking fee. Orders with standard items that are cancelled for any reason after they are shipped will be charged a 20% restocking fee plus cost of shipping for the original order.

 

Shipping & Freight

Standard Shipments: F.O.B. Alteck shipping origin. Orders received before 1pm EST normally ship in 2 business days. Orders received with issues preventing processing (wrong pricing, out of stock items, etc.) may be delayed. Large and special shipments may require additional lead time.

Domestic Freight Allowed: Alteck ships most items via UPS in the 48 Contiguous United States freight allowed for ground shipments/standard freight shipments, on orders of $500.00 or more. Does not include expedited shipments.

Shipping payment: All shipments are shipped on Alteck’s account prepaid then added to the invoice. Customer can ship on their own account if requested and pre-approved by our Order Manager.

Change of Shipping Address: Any change to a shipping address after the package has been shipped will be assessed a $25 fee per package and is dependent upon the shipping carrier’s ability to change the address.

Preferred Carrier: All orders are shipped through Alteck’s preferred carrier only and are subject to our preferred carrier’s delivery policies.

Saturday Delivery: If Saturday delivery is required (and available) it must be specifically requested by the customer. Saturday Delivery shipments are subject to all our expedited shipment policies.

Delivery Dates: All delivery dates are estimated by the shipping carrier. Alteck is not responsible for any shipping delays outside of Alteck’s control including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, etc.

Returns & Restocking: For Alteck to serve you in a timely manner, all returns of defective and restock product(s) require a prior approval and a Return Material Authorization (RMA). Product that is current and in the original unopened, unaltered packaging, may be returned for a 20% restocking fee plus freight costs. Please contact the Customer Service team for our full return policies.

Freight Claims: Our shipments are F.O.B. Alteck shipping origin. We cannot assume responsibility for products lost or damaged during transit. All Alteck products are inspected prior to shipment. We strongly encourage our customers to inspect packages and cartons upon arrival for damages or missing products. If shipped on Alteck’s shipping account, then shipping and freight claims must be submitted via email within 72 hours of delivery to: orders@altecklighting.com

Alteck Limited Warranty: All Alteck products come with a 2-Year Limited Warranty Workmanship and Finish and 5-Year on the LED Modules from the date of product purchase date, unless otherwise noted. The limited warranty covers products defective in materials or workmanship. The limited warranty does not cover any damage or failures resulting from accidents, the environment (such as exposure to corrosive material), acts of nature, unauthorized modifications, use of non-approved parts, misapplication, abusive operation, improper installation, and lightning or power surges. The re-installation of product and accessories or associated products are NOT covered. For our full Limited Warranty please contact our Customer Service team.

Invoicing, Credit Terms, & Payment

Accepted payment methods include check, electronic check, and ACH/Wire Transfers. Credit cards (AMEX, Discover, Visa, & MasterCard) are accepted via our Merchant Services portal. (A link is provided upon invoicing. All customers using a credit card will see a 3.5% fee in addition to the invoice amount.  This fee will go directly to the Merchant Service provider. This is a 3rd party charge and is not a fee charged by Alteck. Alteck will not receive any portion of this fee.)

Returned Checks are subject to a $35.00 processing fee.

Credit Terms are net 30 calendar days, unless noted otherwise on invoice, from the invoice date when the credit application is completed and credit check is passed, otherwise payment is due upon receipt of purchase order. Large or special orders may be subject to special terms as provided by Atleck.

IMAP (Internet Minimum Advertised Policy): Our IMAP is equal to the Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) shown in our published price lists. For our full IMAP Policy please contact our office.

Force Majeure

Force Majeure: Alteck shall not be liable or responsible to Buyer, nor be deemed to have defaulted or breached this Agreement, for any failure or delay in fulfilling or preforming any term of this Agreement when and to the extent such failure or delay is caused by or results from acts or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Alteck including, without limitation, acts of God, flood fire, earthquake, explosion, governmental actions, war, invasion or hostilities (whether war is declared or not) terrorist threats or acts, riot or other civil unrest, national emergency, revolution, insurrection, epidemic, lockouts, strikes or other labor disputes (whether or not relating to either party’s workforce), or restraints or delays affecting carriers or inability or delay in obtaining supplies of adequate or suitable materials, materials or telecommunication breakdown or power outage.
